Up your grower Champagne cred with this limited edition Piollot package of rare, single-varietal, single-vineyard stunners. Start with the clean, crisp, 100% chardonnay Champs Rayés Blanc de Blancs Brut Nature from the Champs Rayés plot. Champs Rayés is named for the “stripes” of marly clay soil that run through the vineyard. Follow it up with the juicy, bone-dry, 100% pinot noir Come des Tallants Blanc de Noirs Brut Nature from the sloped and south-facing Comes des Tallants plot. Finally, finish with the micro-released Mepetit Brut Nature, a bright, fruity pure expression of pinot meunier. Pinot meunier is relatively rare in the Aube, and while only 6% of Piollot’s vineyards are planted to pinot meunier, the small, southeast-facing Mepetit plot produces exquisite fruit that the Piollot family is proud to spotlight.

  • Do you do tastings?

    Tasting room is open Monday-Thursday 10-6, Friday 10-7, Saturday 11-7, Sunday 11-6

    Tastings are free for members and $50 for non-members. (We’ll waive the fee with the purchase of a bottle.)

    No reservations required but please call ahead if you’re coming with a larger group.

  • Can you provide recommendations?

  • Do I have to be a club member to shop bottles?

    No way José. All are welcome to purchase any of our delicious bubbles online or in person at the fatcork cave.

  • What do I do if my Champagne is corked?

    Damp, wet cardboard? That’s not on the tasting note! Cork taint is the worst, but all fatcork Champagnes use natural cork closures, so it does happen on the rare occasion. Please let us know, and will happily replace the bottle. Before you throw it away, snap a photo of the back label and we can refer to the code for reference. Email it to info@fatcork.com along with the order number.

  • Can I return or exchange my bottles?

    We aim to please. Call or email us, so we can talk about what happened and how we can make things right.
