Position Description:
- A Champagne specialist/tasting room host for the fatcork tasting room in Seattle
- Exceptional customer service will always be at the heart of everything we do. Core responsibilities include:

Tasting room operations
- Opening and/or closing in the tasting room
- Retail sales
- Pouring Champagne during tastings on Sundays and, potentially, one day during the week (your choice of Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday)
- Helping customers pick out the perfect bottles
- Processing customer orders
- Promoting our Champagne club and email list
- Light merchandising (e.g., restocking the cave, creating displays and taking inventory)
- Performing tasting room tasks as needed (e.g., cleaning and tidying up)

Position Requirements:
- Proven workplace-based evidence of professionalism, flexibility, punctuality and, most importantly, a friendly, positive attitude
- The ability to work quickly and efficiently in a dynamic environment
- Computer proficiency
- Basic knowledge of wine
Schedule & Benefits:
- This position reports to our tasting room manager, Joseph Goguen.
- This is a part-time, hourly position with the expectation of working every Sunday 1:30-6:30 p.m. This position also affords the option to work one weekday of your choice 1:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m.
- Compensation for this position is $28/hour.
- Additionally, our tasting room host will receive a monthly allocation of grower Champagne and the option to take home opened bottles at the end of their shift
* Please note: Vacation time is not available in November and December. This is our busiest season of the year!
