Jean Baillette-Prudhomme Cuvée Heritage Premier Cru
A blend of the oldest reserve wines in the cellar, and aged in neutral oak barrels for one year before being aged in the bottle for another six years, this has some depth and complexity. The aroma is first marked my hints of oak cask and cellar evolution, but the taste brings out the fruitiness. Lots of pear, dried fruit, and hazelnut lead into a very long finish structured by soft tannins. This is very well balanced.
