Produced in their cellars in Avize, Petit Le Brun  et Fils Champagnes are a classic expression of blanc de blancs. The vignerons use a blend of three consecutive vintages for their base wine and age their cuvées on the lees for 24-36 months.

See: Golden iridescence and fine, pearly bubbles

Smell: Earth, tobacco and hay give way to white flowers and citrus blossoms

Taste: Fresh grapefruit. Crisp and fresh with bright acidity and a long, buttery finish.

Pair: Keep it simple; pair these bubbles with shellfish, rustic cured meats or takeout pad Thai.

Celebrate: It’s a gorgeous warm evening, and you’ve been chatting with your neighbors over the fence for nearly 30 minutes. They invite you over for an impromptu barbecue, and, of course, your answer is “yes!” You’ll bring the bubbles!

Village:
Avize
Region: Côtes des Blancs
Vintage: 50% 2019, 50% 2020
Varietal: 100% chardonnay
Disgorgement: December 2023
Dosage: 5 g/l

Each armed with a distinguished winemaking lineage, husband-and-wife team Richard Petit and Véronique Bajan established the Petit Le Brun Champagne brand in 1964 and have since been producing classic-style cuvées at their domaine in Avize. Built in 1723 for a countess, the estate sits 12 meters above chalk caves that are 400 meters long. Vine roots poke through the ceilings of their caves — a testament to centuries of winemaking on the estate’s storied grounds. In their 4 hectares of chardonnay vineyards, Richard and Véronique are committed to using  products and methods approved by the Haute Valeur Environnementale and the Agriculture Durable & Bio.

We Care Deeply About Your Grower Champagne.

Select “pick up” during check out, and we’ll safely store your bubbles in our temperature-controlled cave until you can collect them. Once we notify you that your order is ready, pop by at your convenience to pick it up and enjoy a splash. Or, if you prefer, give us a call, and we’ll bring it to you curbside.

Our new compostable, insulated packaging keeps your Champagne safe from breakage and at a constant temperature from our cave to you. Even so, we monitor the weather where you are, and if we feel that extreme heat or cold may affect the quality of your bubbles, we’ll be in touch to offer you options.

Email it to info@fatcork.com along with the order number.
