Members, get ready for a very special taste of our featured grower Champagne producer of the season, A. Levasseur. One of our all-time favorite growers, David Levasseur is a second-generation winemaker whose playful spirit and enthusiasm results in fresh cuvées that are really fun to drink.

In 2022, fatcork founder Bryan Maletis approached David about making an extra brut version of both his flagship cuvée Rue de Sorbier and his Extrait Gourmand Rosé, and he agreed! Now, two years later, these fatcork exclusives are ready to drink, and you’re the first of our customers to try them! Plus, both cuvées highlight pinot meunier — the best grape for enjoying with your favorite fall comfort foods. How’s that for perfect planning? 

Frequent Fizzers and Merrymakers, Fleury has arrived, and you’re the first to try it! Fleury may be new to fatcork, but it is one of the most historic and influential producers in all of France. Nearly a century after grafting the first French pinot noir onto phylloxera-resistant rootstock, in the late 1980s, Fleury pioneered the use of organic and biodynamic growing methods in the Aube. And the trend has now spread through all of Champagne! A remarkable wine from a momentous domaine, the elegant blanc de noirs in your shipment was formulated (75 percent latest vintage and 25 percent perpetual reserve) in 1955 and has become an instant favorite of our experts here at the cave.

Merrymakers, we have something special just for you. In your Champagne delivery allocation, we are sending you not one, not two, but three highly coveted “parcellaire” cuvées from visionary vigneron Stéphane Regnault. In the five years we’ve known Stêphane, never have we ever included Dorien, Mixolydien or Lydien in allocations. There just hasn’t been enough to go around.
