Piollot Champs Rayés
This gorgeous Blanc de Blancs is from a blend of two different vineyards - one in Polisot, and one nearby Noé les Mallets. The namesake vineyard, Champ Rayés, is named after the striped soil due to two different colors of marl terroir.
Nose Get all up in there! Melon, lavender honey, toasted brioche, and light white florals.
Taste Fine snappy bubbles burst under your tongue. Mouth watering minerality shines, with luxurious honey and brioche following through on the palate.
Food pairing The perfect pairing for pork and richer fish dishes (salmon, tuna etc). Would be a fast friend to a sushi feast. Also a great way to start a meal with mild and soft cheeses.
